Conductor: THE CREATION by Haydn, ASU, 2015
Final curtain call from the ASU School of Music performance of The Creation. A chorus of over 300 singers from the ASU choirs joined the ASU Symphony Orchestra and student soloists to present the culminating concert of The Creation Project a semester-long series of lectures, concerts, symposia, and exhibitions related to Haydn's music. The performance included dazzling visuals created by a team from ASU's School of Film, Dance and Theatre. Schildkret organized The Creation Project, participated in several of the events, and conducted the final performance from his new edition (or visit the Editions page).

Schildkret has served as music director for the Mount Desert Summer Chorale since 1999, conducting his first concerts in 2000. The group performs in Bar Harbor, Maine, outside Acadia National Park.
Conductor: Symphony Orchestra of Merida, Venezuela, June 2011
Schildkret addressing the audience in Merida's Aula Magna during a performance of works by Bach (Cantata 51), Brahms (Haydn Variations), and Mendelssohn ("Scottish" Symphony). The Orquesta Sinfonico del Estado Merida is part of Venezuela's celebrated El Sistema.
Conductor: Interim Artistic Director, Piedmont Chamber Singers, 2009-10
Schildkret served as Interim Artistic Director of the Piedmont Chamber Singers in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, during the 2009-10 season. He premiered his edition of the Charpentier Midnight Mass (also available on the Editions page) during that year's holiday program. He is pictured here with two of the group's members, Joni Hanna, and John Burchette, who was one of the organization's founders. The edition of the Charpentier was later performed by Ensemble Phoenix in Israel.

Schildkret was stage director and conductor for the Venezuela premiere of "Charlie Brown" in June, 2013. The production honored the twenty-fifth anniversary of CEVAM Merida, a bi-national center for the teaching of the English language and United States culture.
